REGISTRATION FOR ASI GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2021

Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th, July 2021, Mainz (Germany) and on-line.

 

In fulfilling the requirement of Article 6 of the ASI bylaws and recognizing that many Covid-19 constraints will prevent some of ASI member presidents for travelling to Germany, we will run the GA as a hybrid format – in situ in Mainz and virtually through an on-line link.

Following the GA, a social and cultural program is planned and included in the invitation. This program will be offered free of charge from Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th 2021.

Friday, July 2nd, 2021

  • Individual delegates arrival
  • 16.00 h: Guided city tour and welcome with a glass of sparkling wine
  • 19.00 h: Opening evening on invitation of ASI Partners and the Federal State Rheinland-Pfalz, including Gérard Basset Lifetime Achievement Award Ceremony and presentation of ASI Diploma 2021

Sunday, July 4th, 2021

  • AM – half day GA
  • PM – top-class tastings and workshops

  • PM – guided tours to the winegrowing regions of Mittelrhein, Nahe and Rheingau

  • Full day guided tours to the winegrowing regions of Mosel, Pfalz and Rheinhessen
  • Farewell evening hosted by DWI – German Wine Institute

Please note that times and topics are subject to change without notice.

Please carefully read all instructions below. As we go hybrid (in situ and online), there are some special arrangements in place.

  • All members attending the GA, whether it is in situ or online, MUST fill out the form below.
  • To comply with legal restrictions in regards to in-person meetings in Germany, we can only allow ONE delegate per national association to attend the GA. Spouses, partners etc. cannot be hosted.
  • We allow an additional delegate (members of the Board of national association, a national committee head or equivalent) per national association to attend the GA online.
    Spouses/partners or those who plan to compete in an international competition are not allowed to attend the GA.
  • For presidents (or designates) who are planning to attend the GA in situ, accommodation is arranged from July 2nd to 7th (5 nights).
  • Taking into consideration the uncertain situation with COVID-19 and should you need to cancel the trip due to the change in travel restrictions, you may switch your presence to online by informing ASI Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General through [email protected] no later than 18:00 CET of July 2nd.
  • The GA 2021 will be transmitted online.
    You will have the possibility to participate in the meeting, to electronically raise your hand to speak and to vote online. Detailed technical instructions will be sent well in advance and a trial session will be offered approximately a week before the GA. Besides the President / official delegate, one (1) additional member of the national Board will be allowed to join online – without speaking and voting rights.

In case of last-minute changes of travel due to COVID-19 restrictions you will be able to change to online presence until the evening of July 2nd no later than 18:00 CET.

The stay from Friday, July 2nd to Wednesday, July 7th, 2021 (5 nights) is included for each national president or his/her delegate.
Additional nights can be booked directly at me and all hotel mainz.

Presence online at GA 2021

The GA 2021 will be transmitted in hybrid form, in situ and online.

Nous organiserons l’AG 2021 sous une forme hybride.
Vous aurez la possibilité de participer à la réunion et lever électroniquement la main pour prendre la parole et/ou voter en ligne. Des instructions techniques détaillées seront envoyées bien à l’avance et une session d’essai sera proposée environ une semaine avant l’AG. Outre le président/délégué officiel, un (1) membre supplémentaire du Bureau national sera autorisé à participer en ligne (uniquement en ligne) – sans droit de parole ni de vote.

If you have neither the possibility to be present on situ nor online, you can grant a proxy to a person on your national board or another active member of ASI to vote on your behalf.
