Perlage

Perlage comes from the resources of the Nałęczów waters located in the area of the famous spa specializing in the treatment of heart conditions and hypertension. It is bottled at the source in one of the most modern plants of this type in the world. Its deposits are fully insulated from the influence of external factors by a layer of 100 meters thick rocks. The time of penetration of drops through these insulating layers to the source is over 400 years, which is a unique phenomenon on a global scale.

”Perlage” is the name of a special method of saturating natural mineral water with carbon dioxide of natural origin, thanks to which the bubbles are small and released slowly – just like in the highest class sparkling wines. The effect of this process is the exceptional delicacy of the water that has a high CO2 content.

Perlage water is ideal with meals and wines. Its delicate effervescence and small bubbles improve the reception of taste of dishes. Unique composition of minerals and naturally very low sodium content makes Perlage go perfectly with all types of wines and emphasises the taste and character of both simple and the most exquisite dishes.

The Perlage bottling plant has a unique Water & Wine restaurant concept. It has been created

as a meeting place as well as water-pairing training venue for catering professionals and fine dining enthusiasts. The idea was to combine the highest quality water with well-selected wine and excellent food.

Vinho Verde

Vinho Verde is one of the oldest wine regions in Portugal, known for vibrant fruit, low alcohol and refreshing qualities. The Vinho Verde region is diverse and versatile in wine styles and profiles, known for producing not only light and fresh wines, but also complex, structured and mineral wines.

Climatic differences are significant throughout the Vinho Verde Region and this is reflected in its nine sub-regions, whose names come from rivers or cities: Monção and Melgaço, Lima, Cávado, Ave, Basto, Sousa, Baião, Paiva and Amarante. Local varieties also vary. Alvarinho wines (produced from the full-bodied Alvarinho grape variety, with delicate aromatic notes) are a specialty in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region, in the northern part of the Vinho Verde Region. Other local varieties include delicious Loureiro, Arinto, Avesso and Trajadura for whites, as well as Vinhão, Espadeiro, Pedral and others for black

We are very excited to explore the region and its offer further! You can visit https://www.vinhoverde.pt/ and learn more about Vinho Verde: from history and grape varieties to events and even recipes to compliment these amazing wines!

Wines of Portugal

2010 was a make-over moment for Portuguese wines. Not in terms of quality or style: all of that was already very much in place, the wines already distinctive, chic and stylish. Make-over, we mean, in terms of image and marketing. The 2010 launch of the Vinhos de Portugal (Wines of Portugal) marketing drive is the result of a collaborative exercise by the whole of the Portuguese wine industry and its representatives, a new, dynamic take on wine promotion.
