ASI PREP EXAM

The ASI has been providing high quality exams to sommeliers since 2012, starting with the ASI Diploma, then ASI Certification 1 and ASI Certification 2 launched from 2021 and now, from 2026, the ASI Prep, primarily intended for students at schools and training centers for careers in the hotel and restaurant industry.

The ASI Prep exam is offered in various languages.

The assessment is a written exam. The 50 Multi Choice Questions are tailored to an introductory level and allow the students to discover the world of sommellerie and test their aptitude for becoming a sommelier.

The pass rate required is 50%.

The exam is marked by the ASI EEC (Exams & Education Committee).
