Nebiye Kaya🍷 @knebbia Representing: Türkiye 🇹🇷 Sommelier at The Peninsula Istanbul📍Istanbul, Türkiye
Identifies with: Nebbiolo 🍇 Because at first glance it feels reserved, serious, and somewhat hard to fully decode; but over time it reveals itself layer by layer. It has depth and elegance rather than showiness, and its strength comes from structure and resilience. Even in difficult vintages, it doesn’t lose its identity—in fact, it gains more character. 🤩
Inspired by: sharing stories, welcoming people and creating memorable experiences. 👏
August took us on a journey through the Atlantic landscapes of Galicia, Spain 🇪🇸🌊, where we explored its distinctive wine culture and celebrated World Albariño Day with a glass of one of the region’s most iconic grapes 🍇✨.
The celebrations continued with International Prosecco Day 🥂 and International Pinot Noir Day 🍷, giving us plenty of reasons to raise a glass throughout the month! And beyond wine, we also ventured into the world of sake with a special podcast episode exploring this fascinating beverage and its culture 🇯🇵🍶.
So, how much do you remember? 💡
