The third edition of Vinexpo Explorer will be held from September 29 to October 1, 2019. This year’s event, created in conjunction with Inter Beaujolais, focuses on the vineyards of Beaujolais in the extreme south of Burgundy. Here the Gamay Noir grape variety reigns, producing colorful and fruity red wines. It is a region blessed with ideal growing conditions, including lots of sunshine and a constellation of diverse soils. If the Beaujolais experience could be summed up in just one word, it would without any doubt be “diversity”: Diversity in its landscapes and of course diversity in its wines, which offer an astonishing versatility and subtlety.
Vinexpo Explorer is an invitation-only, all-inclusive two-day event that highlights one producing region per year. It consciously shines its spotlight onto lesser-known destinations brimming with the potential to become an international consumer trend. In this way, Vinexpo builds stronger relationships between international buyers from key and emerging markets and producers.
