ASI is pleased to announce the dates for the next General Assembly have been confirmed as July 2nd to 4th with an additional social, cultural and education program, offered free of charge, from July 5th to 7th. In fulfilling the requirement of Article 6 of the ASI bylaws and recognizing many Covid-19 constraints still will not allow all ASI member presidents to travel to Germany, this year’s General Assembly will be held both in situ and virtually on-line in a hybrid-style.
Of the news, ASI Secretary General Peer Holm says “we are incredibly pleased to offer the General Assembly in Mainz (Germany) via a hybrid format. While we recognize not all member countries will be able to attend in person, this solution provides the best opportunity for our board and membership to connect and be updated of the work being done by the association on their behalf.”
ASI takes the responsibility of hosting an event of this nature during extraordinary times with extreme care. As such, we encourage potential participants to familiarize themselves with their own country’s pandemic related travel restrictions and German travel advisories. A travel checklist is available on the General Assembly registration page.
