In the words of Cyprus President Georgios Kassianos, the decision shows where the priorities of ASI lie: the health and safety of the candidates, presidents, journalists and guests. “We certainly hope that by that time there will be minimum restrictions, as we aim for all 41 countries to be present, as well as many of our Americas, Asia, Oceania Presidents.”
The new event has been scheduled for 15 – 19 November 2021 in Cyprus. Details of the re-scheduling and of the competition have been sent to ASI member presidents in December 2020.
Note: the official deadline for registration of competitors is September 19! We encouraged the national associations to register their candidates soonest possible. Given the current circumstances, this will let us get a jump on reviewing and processing applications.
